MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

It is the members of NOGSBA, with their passion for books and all things literary, who have put New Orleans back in touch with its literary heritage and attracted not only writers, but also film producers, actors, and artists from around the country, many of whom have settled in New Orleans, bringing their own vast talents to enhance our community, making it a key literary and growing entertainment center in the United States.

In an effort to thank our members for their support throughout the year, NOGSBA hosts a New Year's Party and a "Summer Bash," to which all members and guests are invited. These are strictly social gatherings-opportunities for all of our members to mix and mingle, thereby strengthening community ties and NOGSBA as an organization.

In conclusion, NOGSBA is a fine professional organization that provides the latest information to its members about the book business, sponsors community projects to help improve the quality of life for our children, and hand sells the books of local writers. None of these activities would be possible without the collective spirit and commitment of its members, who are its greatest attribute.
